About Brainwave

Brainwave is an annual Inter-School quizzing pageant hosted by Manav Sthali School since 1987. A contest which stages the best quizzing teams from Delhi & NCR region, it draws an enthusiastic response from school students from in and around Delhi. It provides a platform to increase global awareness and make education interactive besides encouraging the students to imbibe the finer qualities of team spirit & healthy competition. 

Manav Sthali School holds the firm belief that the children of today are the leaders of tomorrow. Brainwave helps to strengthen and develop organizational and administrative skills in the students and make them understand the importance of being disciplined, committed & responsible in group tasks. The use of latest technology coupled with eye-catching multimedia & audio visual aids makes it a thrilling & lively experience.

Rules & Regulations

  1. Each team comprises of 3 students from class IX to XII. Each school is allowed to send 2 teams.

  2. A written preliminary round will be held on the day of the main event .The best 8 teams for the exhilarating final contests will be shortlisted.

  3. The main event comprises of 5 rounds which will test the knowledge, awareness, presence of mind and intelligence of the quizzers.

  4. 3 teams will be eliminated during the process and 5 teams will battle it out to be the winners.

  5. The Rolling Trophy will be awarded to the winning team. Individual prizes and certificates will be awarded to the winners, and participation certificates will be awarded to all participants of the contest.

  6. The decision of the organiser/quizmaster shall be final and binding in all respects.

  7. All confirmed students are required to report in their proper school uniform. No substitution (in place of the names on the entry form) will be allowed to participate. A teacher should accompany the team.
